Linushka & Wenuka’s traditional wedding was a simple but elegant affair that was held at the lawn of Bolgoda 360 along the Bolgoda River in Moratuwa. Despite challenges of the pandemic and continuous postponements the wedding day was filled with joy and excitement and tons of amazing moments.

Rozella, Sri Lanka Destination Wedding
The lovebirds decided to have their wedding at Anoli’s own tea estate bungalow in Rozella, Hatton. The wedding venue was surrounded by hills and hills of prime tea plantations with cold upcountry weather. The couple was lucky to have the sun shining down on their day as the weather in November can be very tricky with the high possibility of fog and rain.

We were able to witness such a lovely couple that were bound by both love and their love for God. Despite all the havoc that the Covid-19 pandemic has made, they had such a lovely and fun filled wedding with the limited guests they were able.

Galle Face Hotel, Colombo Wedding
We witnessed not just two people come together but also two different cultures combine in their wedding. A traditional Chinese tea ceremony was held followed by a beautiful church ceremony at St. Theresa’s Church, Thimbirigasyaya. Later in the evening they were joined by friends and family for a reception at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo.

Villa Cora, Florence, Italy
Since Heral was so fond of Italy and that Florence was her most favourite city, Raj decided to propose to her in Florence. Raj got in touch with the amazing Slovakian wedding proposal planner Martina Udicova based in Rome (She is more Italian than most Italians) to plan a beautiful proposal. The venue Martina picked was the magnificent Villa Cora which was an aristocratic residence built at the end of the XIX century upon commission by Baron Oppenheim.
