Linushka & Wenuka’s traditional wedding was a simple but elegant affair that was held at the lawn of Bolgoda 360 along the Bolgoda River in Moratuwa. Despite challenges of the pandemic and continuous postponements the wedding day was filled with joy and excitement and tons of amazing moments.

As Sri Lankan wedding photographers, we love weddings at Bolgoda 360 not only because of the garden atmosphere but also because it is a great place to host your entire wedding in one spot. They have a lovely peer that could make a great ceremony venue.

Linushka & Wenuka met through a mutual friend and their love began thanks to social media. Linushka lovingly known as Lulu, such a caring and calm but also crazy fun person with a big heart. As her bridesmaid Dimalshi explains, a true sister who has been there for her and her bestfriend. Wenuka a genuine, caring, and thoughtful person and someone who is there for his friends in need. As Rehan mentioned in his speech, Wenuka is the glue that keeps all their friends together through thick and thin.

Linushka was adorne by an elegant Modern Kandyan saree designed by Maneesha Perera of Re’Ra by Perera and was dressed by Akash Kurera of Toni&Guy Colombo.

The boys opted for a much comfortable Ariya Sinhala outfit which comprises a traditional sarong and shirt in white.

Linushka & Wenuka’s first look was quite a tense moment, but with a lot of cute moments that followed.

The couple opted for a lovey outdoor traditional poruwa ceremony with an open poruwa despite the heavy rains the day prior. Their faith in a clear sky was answered with wonderful clear weather throughout the day. The lovely decor for the ceremony and reception was done by Mahen from The Ararliya.

The ceremony was followed by a fun-filled garden ceremony at the lawn of Bolgoda 360 with a canopy just in case if the weather turned south. But yet again it was clear skies and perfect weather for the lovely couple. The decor was simple but elegant and the ceremony used long barn tables instead of the traditional round tables giving an elegant look to the venue.
