WEDDING OF ANOLI & HARSHA

Anoli & Harsha’s wedding was originally planned for July 01, 2020. But with the pandemic and all the restrictions surrounding it, they had to postpone their wedding to November. Still, with so many restrictions lurking around, the lovebirds decided to have their wedding at Anoli’s own tea estate bungalow in Rozella, Hatton. The wedding venue was surrounded by hills and hills of prime tea plantations with cold upcountry weather. The couple was lucky to have the sun shining down on their day as the weather in November can be very tricky with the high possibility of fog and rain.

Anoli & Harsha met at Narada Buddhist Center Temple while being involved in charity work at the temple. Charity work at the temple brought them together and this is where their love story began.

Anoli opted for a very simple but elegant designer saree designed by super talented Purnima Abeyratne and her hair and makeup were done by one of our favorites, Dil Sapukotanage. She was dressed at her own bungalow giving a very sentimental feeling to the wedding.

Harsha opted to get dressed in a beige suit complimenting Anoli’s saree. He and the groomsmen were based at a nearby luxury hotel – The Argyle.

The couple decided to have a first look prior to the ceremony. Harsha was quite nervous and super excited to see Anoli.

The traditional Poruwa ceremony took place in the beautiful garden adjoining the tea estate bungalow joined by their limited friends and family due to the pandemic restrictions.
