WEDDING OF THUSHALI & SOHAN

“Distance is temporary but Love is forever”. This is the new normal as most weddings are impacted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This was the case with Thushali & Sohan’s wedding as well. The couple tied the knot on the day before a lockdown was announced on their pre-planned day. They were lucky to have their dream wedding but with most of their family and friends sharing this moment from the comfort of their homes as only 50 guests were allowed to attend the function. Despite the draw backs the love birds had so much fun and had a happy time together, which is what weddings are about.

Lovely bride Thushali opted for a very simple but elegant saree gown hybrid designed by super talented Jinali (JbyJinali) and her hair and make up were done by one of our favorites, Dil Sapukotanage.

The couple decided to have a first look prior to the ceremony. Their first look was such a lovely and cute moment filled with lots of giggles, hugs and kisses. Which was followed by their portrait session at Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo.

Even the family joined in for a photo session before we moved in to the ceremony.

The overall décor was elegant and nature centric.

Post the ceremony the couple wanted few more pictures taken with the sunset. It was not a perfect sunset, but the couple still had fun taking more pictures. While the couple was out having fun, the guests settled in to their tables and were served with mocktails and starter plates.
